Ed is a member of the Ottawa Independent Writers group. He volunteers at the local Food Bank and is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He is currently taking a Philosophy of Art course at St. Lawrence College and travels annually to Paris for the Salon d'Agriculture where he is provided with many images both culinary and literary.

Background for his works: Ed is influenced by the works of Camus and Sartre as well as Ezra Pound who spurred the Modernist Movement and Imagism.

Herein lies his collected verse based on his photos culled from travels at home and abroad.
